hey Colleen.
I totally agree with you...Like Alec mentioned in class, our students are almost born into technology in a way. in fact, a girl I work with was saying how her three year old knows how to put in a dvd and make it play...which my co-worker thought was strange, because no one had taught her how.. and this was BEFORE she was even in school! I share the same fear of not being able to keep up, let alone challenge and make interesting, with technology, when I haven't had a lot of experience with working with it. But, as teachers, I also believe it is our responsability to be constantly learning, and attempting to create classrooms that our students can relate to and grow within...even if that means stepping outside our comfort zones. So kudos to us for taking this class...!! :D
